Reveal casing profile - hollow-chamber PVC
Hollow-chamber profile 46 x 25 mm in 6 m lengths, for finishing the reveal on the outside of a building. Weather-resistant rigid PVC.
The profile covers the area around windows and doors on the facade side. The chambered construction gives stiffness at low weight, and PVC absorbs no water and needs no painting - unlike a plaster finish, which cracks soonest right at the window.
This is an external solution. For cladding the reveal from inside there are the reveal cladding profiles, built around a retaining profile and a cover profile.

External reveal casing versus internal reveal cladding
These are two different jobs and two different systems, though both concern the area around the window.
Reveal casing works on the facade side. It covers the frame-to-masonry joint on the outside, where the finish takes the most punishment: water runs down the wall, frost breaks the plaster where two materials meet, and sun bleaches the surface. A hollow-chamber rigid PVC profile absorbs no water and needs no painting, so it settles the problem once and for all.
Reveal cladding is an internal system: a retaining profile clipped into the frame, an infill panel or hollow-chamber profile, and a cover profile on the wall side. It replaces plastering and filling the reveal inside the room. We describe it in detail on a separate page.
If you are unsure which solution fits your job, a photo of the reveal and a note of whether it is the outside or the inside will do.
More from our range
Reveal casing profile - finishing from the facade side
The reveal casing profile in hollow-chamber PVC covers the area around windows and doors on the facade side. The chambered construction gives stiffness at low weight, and rigid PVC absorbs no water and needs no painting - unlike a plaster finish, which cracks soonest right at the window. We carry the profile in a 46 x 25 mm section in 6 metre lengths.
External casing and internal reveal cladding - two different systems
Both solutions concern the area around a window, but they work on opposite sides of the wall. Reveal casing is an external finish: it covers the frame-to-masonry junction on the facade side, where water runs down the wall, frost breaks the plaster where two materials meet and the sun bleaches the surface. Reveal cladding is an internal system built around a retaining profile clipped into the frame, an infill panel or hollow-chamber profile, and a cover profile on the wall side - it replaces plastering and filling the reveal inside the room.
Fixing hardware
This page also carries the nipple screw for PVC and aluminium roller shutter rails, in white. The same part belongs to the hardware described more fully with the roller shutter profiles, together with catches and mounting strips for aluminium rails.
Collection at the weekend too
We hand goods over during the week, but the collection time is agreed individually - including on a Saturday and, if need be, a Sunday, arranged by phone beforehand. With 6 metre profiles it is worth planning ahead because of transport. Orders for weekend collection should be placed by Friday 12:00 at the latest. We ship throughout Poland.

It depends on which side of the wall. If you are unsure, just send a photo of the reveal and say whether it is the outside or the inside.
