PVC angle profiles - plastic angles for windows and doors

Plastic angles in rigid PVC: fixed and folding, equal and unequal legs, white and foil-wrapped. Length 6 m, optionally with adhesive tape.

Plastic angle profiles cover the gap between wall and window after installation, finish the junction between sill and window, and clad reveals. They do not corrode, need no painting and cut with an ordinary hacksaw.

Stock foil decors: golden oak, walnut, anthracite, mahogany, dark oak. Colours and sizes other than those listed below are made to special order.

The classic angle with two equal legs. Most often chosen for finishing corners, cladding reveals and covering the junction between window and wall. Stiff, and it holds its shape over the whole length.

An angle with legs of different lengths. It works where one side has a wider gap to cover, for example where the frame meets the plaster or against uneven brickwork.

Folding PVC angle profiles, white

Foldable - they take any angle, optionally with adhesive tape

The folding angle has a thin living hinge along its axis, so it can be laid flat or folded to any angle. It is the answer for windows coupled at an angle, for rakes, and for corners that are not 90 degrees. Laid flat it serves as an ordinary flat trim.

It can be ordered with foam adhesive tape on both legs or on just one - which shortens installation, since there is no drilling and no wet bonding.

An angle with a rounded corner. Used where a sharp edge would be exposed to knocks, or where a softer finishing line is wanted.

PVC angle profiles - types, uses and fitting rules

PVC angle profiles come in two forms: fixed angles in rigid PVC and folding angles. Folding angles can also serve as flat trims - simply open them out flat.

Adhesive tape makes for fast installation. Just remember to degrease the surface before bonding and to leave expansion gaps at both ends of the angle. Folding angles work particularly well on windows coupled together at any angle.

Folding angles 1.0 - 1.5 mm thick are produced in 50 m or 100 m coils, with adhesive tape on one or both legs, packed in cartons. Folding angles 2, 2.5 and 3 mm thick come in 6-metre lengths; for transport they are sometimes coiled and boxed. On arrival they should be unrolled to full length straight away and laid flat. Experience shows that 2 to 3 days in transit coiled does not affect the material once unpacked.

Fixed and folding angles are also available in colours - trims and angle profiles are wrapped with foils from Renolit, Continental (Hornschuch), Cova and LG. Fixed angles are often used to clad window reveals outside and inside.

We also supply painted PVC angles in any RAL colour - most often used when installing aluminium joinery. PVC angles can also be heat-bent, which makes them suitable for cladding arched windows.
