PVC angle profiles - plastic angles for windows and doors
Plastic angles in rigid PVC: fixed and folding, equal and unequal legs, white and foil-wrapped. Length 6 m, optionally with adhesive tape.
Plastic angle profiles cover the gap between wall and window after installation, finish the junction between sill and window, and clad reveals. They do not corrode, need no painting and cut with an ordinary hacksaw.
Stock foil decors: golden oak, walnut, anthracite, mahogany, dark oak. Colours and sizes other than those listed below are made to special order.

PVC angle profiles - types, uses and fitting rules
PVC angle profiles come in two forms: fixed angles in rigid PVC and folding angles. Folding angles can also serve as flat trims - simply open them out flat.
Adhesive tape makes for fast installation. Just remember to degrease the surface before bonding and to leave expansion gaps at both ends of the angle. Folding angles work particularly well on windows coupled together at any angle.
Folding angles 1.0 - 1.5 mm thick are produced in 50 m or 100 m coils, with adhesive tape on one or both legs, packed in cartons. Folding angles 2, 2.5 and 3 mm thick come in 6-metre lengths; for transport they are sometimes coiled and boxed. On arrival they should be unrolled to full length straight away and laid flat. Experience shows that 2 to 3 days in transit coiled does not affect the material once unpacked.
Fixed and folding angles are also available in colours - trims and angle profiles are wrapped with foils from Renolit, Continental (Hornschuch), Cova and LG. Fixed angles are often used to clad window reveals outside and inside.
We also supply painted PVC angles in any RAL colour - most often used when installing aluminium joinery. PVC angles can also be heat-bent, which makes them suitable for cladding arched windows.
PVC angle profiles, or plastic angles for finishing windows and doors
PVC angle profiles - also called plastic angles, angles in plastic, or angle trims and profiles - are used to conceal the gap between masonry and window after fitting, to finish where the window board meets the window, and to clad reveals. Unlike metal angles they do not corrode, need no painting and leave no rust streaks on the facade. They are made of rigid PVC, in 6 m lengths, in white and foil wrapped in decors matched to the joinery.
Fixed and folding angle profiles - how they differ
A fixed angle profile has a rigid 90 degree corner and holds its shape along the whole length. It comes equal legged (60 / 60 mm, say) and unequal legged, when a wider gap has to be covered on one side. A folding angle profile has a thin hinge along its axis, so it folds to any angle, and laid out flat it works as a flat trim. Folding angles suit windows joined at an angle, sloping heads and anywhere the corner is not a true 90 degrees. Both versions can be ordered with self-adhesive foam tape on one leg or both.
Fitting PVC angle profiles - what to bear in mind
When fitting with adhesive tape, the essentials are degreasing the surface before bonding and leaving expansion gaps at both ends of the angle - PVC moves with temperature and without a gap the profile can bow. Folding angles 1.0-1.5 mm thick are supplied in rolls of 50 or 100 m; thicker ones (2, 2.5 and 3 mm) come in 6 metre lengths, coiled into the carton for transport. On receiving the delivery, unroll them straight away and lay them flat. PVC angle profiles can also be heat-bent, which allows them to be used when cladding arched windows, and to order we make versions painted in any RAL colour, often chosen for aluminium joinery.
Collection at the weekend too
We hand goods over during the week, but the collection time is agreed individually - including on a Saturday and, if need be, a Sunday, arranged by phone beforehand. The option is used above all by customers living and working in Germany, who collect their material when they come back to Poland - we speak Polish, so profile names need no translating. Orders for weekend collection should be placed by Friday 12:00 at the latest so we have time to make the goods up. We ship throughout Poland.
