Window locks and opening restrictors
Restrictors for every type of single and double casement window. From light plastic models to key-operated metal locks with an anti-burglary function.
A restrictor makes airing safe: the sash opens only to the set width and does not slam in a draught. It is also a safeguard for children and pets - the window cannot be opened wider than the chosen position.
Selected models also work as an anti-burglary device: a locked window cannot be released from outside. Such solutions are used in schools, hospitals, care homes, offices, public institutions and hotels.

Which restrictor to choose
The choice depends on what the restrictor has to protect against.
Airing without draughts or slamming - Stickair or Airquick is enough. Both give plenty of opening positions, fit quickly and need no key in everyday use.
Child safety - Sairpentin with a padlock or Airlock is the better answer. A plastic restrictor on its own can be moved by a child; a padlock and a key lock are a real barrier.
Protection against burglary - only Airlock. It is the only one that prevents the sash being released from outside, so the window can stay ajar even when nobody is in the room. In public buildings this is the standard solution.
Every model fits single and double casement windows. When choosing, it helps to state the window type, how it opens and whether the restrictor should be visible or discreet - that decides the colour and finish.

Plastic models: Stickair and Airquick
Stickair is the lightest model in the range, made of plastic, with 14 opening positions. It is fixed with screws or with high-strength adhesive tape - both are supplied, so fitting needs no drilling into the profile. Available in white and in brown in a wood shade. Airquick has an arm with keyhole-shaped holes: the pin on the base enters the wider part and slides into the narrower one, where it locks. Dimensions: hole spacing 218 mm, overall length 225 mm, base diameter 35 mm, arm width 20 mm.
Metal models: Sairpentin and Airlock
Sairpentin is the metal version, stiffer than the plastic models. It holds the sash firmly while airing and has an eye for a padlock, which makes it an effective child safeguard (the padlock is not included). Colours: chrome, epoxy white, gold and brown. Airlock is the strongest model: it locks the window in one of 10 opening positions and is the only one that prevents release from outside. Available key-operated (two keys supplied) and push-button, with adapters, screws and cover caps included. Colours: chrome, gold plated, satin matt nickel and epoxy white.
