Drainage caps - covers for drainage openings in PVC windows
Covers that conceal the drainage opening in the window frame. Slim-Line 25 from stock; Slim-Line 26 and 30, Half-pipe and Standard to order. Colours: white, brown and RAL to match Renolit foil.
At the bottom of every PVC window frame there are drainage openings that carry water out of the rebate. Left bare they look like raw cut-outs in the profile - the cap covers them while directing the water outwards.
The type of cap is chosen not by taste but by the shape and size of the opening made by the window manufacturer. So check what opening the frame has before ordering.
Slim-Line 25
For a 25 x 5 mm routed slot, always in stock
The name Slim-Line refers to the flat profile: the cap barely projects from the frame, so it does not catch the eye or snag when the window is cleaned.

How to match the cap to the window
The cap is chosen not by the make of window but by the opening formed in the frame. Window makers use two kinds of drainage, and that is what decides the choice.
A routed slot, that is an elongated cut-out - the commonest case. Its length is what matters: 25 x 5 mm means the Slim-Line family, 35 x 5 mm means Standard. The wider Slim-Line 26 and 30 cover the sizes in between.
A round opening Ø 10 mm - then the right model is Half-pipe, which enters the opening cylindrically rather than sitting flat.
The simplest way is to measure the opening with callipers, or hold a ruler against it and send a photo. From that we will identify the right model without guesswork.
The colour follows the frame: white for standard joinery, brown for dark, and on foil-wrapped windows a RAL shade matching the Renolit foil, so the cap blends into the profile instead of standing out as a light dot.
From the same family as the Slim-Line caps come the Slim-Line balcony door handles - if one was used on the joinery, the other will match it in shape and colour.

Drainage caps - what they are for
In the lower part of the frame of every PVC window there are drainage openings that carry water out of the rebate. The openings themselves look like raw cut-outs in the profile - the cap covers them while directing the water outwards. We carry them in white, brown and in RAL colours matching Renolit foils, so the cap merges with wrapped joinery instead of standing out as a pale spot.
The type of cap is chosen by the opening in the frame
A cap is not chosen by the make of window but by the opening made by the window manufacturer. With a milled opening, that is an elongated cut-out, its length is what counts: 25 x 5 mm is the Slim-Line family, 35 x 5 mm is the Standard model. The wider variants Slim-Line 26 and Slim-Line 30 cover the intermediate profiles. With a round opening 10 mm in diameter the right model is Half-pipe, which enters the opening cylindrically rather than flat.
Availability: Slim-Line 25 from stock, the rest to order
Slim-Line 25 is in continuous supply - available off the shelf. The other models, that is Slim-Line 26 and 30, Half-pipe and Standard, are made to individual order, so when enquiring it is worth stating the size of the opening, the colour and the quantity needed straight away. A typical window usually has two or three drainage openings per sash. The simplest approach is to measure the opening with a caliper or send a photo with a ruler alongside.
Collection at the weekend too
We hand goods over during the week, but the collection time is agreed individually - including on a Saturday and, if need be, a Sunday, arranged by phone beforehand. The option is used above all by customers living and working in Germany. Orders for weekend collection should be placed by Friday 12:00 at the latest. We ship throughout Poland.
