Fitting strips in white PVC with a vapour-tight system. Compressed PU foam in a film sleeve expands once the tear strip is removed and presses itself into the joint. RAL compliant.
A solution for sealing internal window connection joints, intended for internal use only. The strip does not merely cover the joint - it seals it at the same time.
Inside is impregnated, compressed soft PU foam enclosed in a PP film sleeve. The sleeve closure has a perforation and a tear cord forming a tear-off zone for the projecting strip of film. Once it is torn away the tape expands and presses the remaining film evenly into the joint.

How the expanding tape in an „i” strip works
The system consists of impregnated, compressed soft PU foam enclosed in a PP film sleeve. The foam is compressed, so the strip can be laid into the joint without resistance.
The sleeve closure has a perforation and a tear cord. Together they form the tear-off zone for the projecting strip of film: once the strip is stuck down you tear that piece away and the compressed tape starts to expand.
The expanding foam presses the remaining film evenly into the joint. The seal therefore follows the actual shape of the gap, including where the masonry is not true - which a strip simply stuck on flat cannot achieve.
The strips have a vapour-tight system and are intended for internal use only. The seal complies with the RAL guidelines for internal window connection joints.
The profile height is matched to the joint: 2.5 mm for even connections, 15 mm with an edge where greater unevenness has to be covered.

The flat 2.5 mm and the covering 15 mm versions
The flat „i" strip, 2.5 mm high, comes in 5 m lengths, in widths of 25, 40, 60 and 80 mm. It is chosen where the joint is even and the strip is to lie flat on the surface. The covering „i" strip, 15 mm high, with a raised edge, comes in 6 m lengths, in widths of 20, 30, 40, 60 and 80 mm. The edge covers greater unevenness and so conceals a wider or deeper joint.
Collection at the weekend too
We hand goods over during the week, but the collection time is agreed individually - including on a Saturday and, if need be, a Sunday, arranged by phone beforehand. The option is used above all by customers living and working in Germany. Orders for weekend collection should be placed by Friday 12:00 at the latest. We ship throughout Poland.
