Technolog PVC sill and connector profiles - sill mounting profiles, spring strips and H connectors

Window sill profiles and connectors

Sill mounting profiles with a five-chamber section, a soft lip and two seals against the frame. Matched to Veka, Aluplast, Rehau, Profine and Gealan systems. 6 m lengths.

A sill profile replaces foaming and filling under the window board. It slides into the frame and the board drops into it from above - so the joint is sealed straight away, with no extra sealing.

Besides the profiles themselves we carry spring strips and H connectors - connecting parts that fit more than a dozen window systems.

Grey PVC, five chambers, soft sealing lip, 6 m lengths

A grey PVC profile for fitting window boards, intended for new build. The version is chosen by the width of the frame profile, which is why each window system has its own dimension.

The design does four things at once: five chambers improve insulation, two seals against the frame remove the need for extra sealing, a symmetrical snap joint lets the profile be fitted from the left or the right, and a rigid section keeps it from deforming in transit. It also makes aluminium window boards easier to fit.

Spring strip

Connector profile in white PVC, 6 m lengths

A connecting part for fitting window boards in window and door systems. The springy section presses against the profile and takes up fitting tolerances.

Matching a sill profile to the window system

A sill profile is not universal - it slides into the frame profile, so the width has to match the particular system. Hence five sizes: 36 mm for Rehau, 38 mm for Aluplast, 41.2 mm for Gealan, 44.4 mm for Veka and 46.4 mm for Profine.

If you do not know which system the window comes from, simply measure the width of the frame profile where the sill profile is to sit and give the figure in millimetres. That is enough to make the choice.

The soft lip on the edge of the profile closes against the frame and seals the gap even where the masonry is not perfectly true. Two seals on the frame side make the joint airtight without foam or silicone - which shortens the job and removes the classic draught point under the sill.

For systems where a full profile is not used there are spring strips and H connectors. The spring strip fits more than a dozen systems, including Schüco, KBE, Kömmerling and Salamander - making it the universal answer where no dedicated profile exists.

Fitting a window board onto a sill profile against a PVC window frame

Window sill profiles - a tight joint between board and frame

A sill profile slides into the frame section, and the window board drops into it from above. It replaces foaming and filling under the board, because two seals bearing on the frame make the joint tight with no extra sealing. The five-chamber section improves the thermal figures, the soft lip closes the junction even on uneven masonry, and the symmetrical snap joint allows fitting from the left or the right. The standard length is 6 metres.

Versions for window systems

The profile is not universal - its width must match the section of the particular system. We carry five versions: Rehau 70/80/86 at 36 mm, Aluplast 70/80/85 at 38 mm, Gealan 74/82.5 at 41.2 mm, Veka 70/82/90 at 44.4 mm and Profine 76 at 46.4 mm. All in grey PVC with a soft sealing lip. If you do not know the system, simply measure the width of the frame section where the profile is to sit.

Spring strips and H connectors

Where a full sill profile is not used, connecting parts in white PVC complete the job. The spring strip in 4.6 x 12 mm (fits Salamander) and 4 x 13 mm serves the Aluplast, Schüco, Rehau, Gealan, LB-Profile, Trocal, KBE, Roplasto, Dimex, Kömmerling and Salamander systems. The H connector and the 2 mm connector fit the Rehau, Veka, Trocal, Gealan and Kömmerling systems. All in 6 m lengths.

Collection at the weekend too

We hand goods over during the week, but the collection time is agreed individually - including on a Saturday and, if need be, a Sunday, arranged by phone beforehand. The option is used above all by customers living and working in Germany, who collect their material when they come back to Poland. Orders for weekend collection should be placed by Friday 12:00 at the latest. We ship throughout Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Which window systems do the sill profiles fit?

We carry versions for Veka 70/82/90 (44.4 mm), Aluplast 70/80/85 (38 mm), Rehau 70/80/86 (36 mm), Profine 76 (46.4 mm) and Gealan 74/82.5 (41.2 mm).

I do not know which system my window is - how do I choose the profile?

Simply measure the width of the frame section where the profile is to sit and give the figure in millimetres. A photo of the section with a tape measure alongside also helps.

Does a sill profile need additional sealing?

No. The profile has two seals bearing on the frame, which make the joint tight without foam or silicone. That removes the classic draught point under the sill.

What does the five-chamber construction give?

The air chambers improve the thermal figures of the joint and stiffen the profile, so it does not deform in transit or during fitting.

Is the profile fitted on the left or the right?

On both. The snap joint is symmetrical, so the same profile fits either side of the opening.

What is the spring strip for?

It is a connector profile for fitting window boards where a full sill profile is not used. It fits more than a dozen systems, including Schüco, KBE, Kömmerling and Salamander.

What lengths are the profiles available in?

All sill profiles, spring strips and connectors are supplied in 6 metre lengths.
