Technolog composite panels - self-adhesive XPS boards, rigid PVC boards and Renolit-laminated panels

Composite panels - self-adhesive XPS, PVC and Renolit

Self-adhesive XPS boards 3000 x 1000 mm in thicknesses of 16-48 mm, rigid PVC boards 24-44 mm in formats up to 2000 x 3000 mm, and panels laminated with Renolit foil on one or both sides.

Composite panels are used in the window, door and fit-out trades - as infills, claddings and insulating elements. The range covers three families differing in core and surface.

XPS boards are pure insulation with a self-adhesive layer. PVC boards carry a rigid 1.3 mm facing. Renolit panels are additionally laminated on one or both sides - for uses where the panel stays visible.

Self-adhesive XPS boards

White rigid PVC board

1.3 mm facing, thicknesses 24-44 mm, formats up to 2000 x 3000 mm

A board with an insulating core and a rigid white PVC facing 1.3 mm thick. The surface is finished - it needs no painting or covering.

Every thickness comes in three formats, so on larger claddings the number of joints can be reduced.

Single-sided Renolit panel

Laminated on one side, thicknesses 24-48 mm

A panel with Renolit foil on one face. It is used where only one surface is visible - for example when cladding from the inside.

The foil decor is chosen the same way as for window profiles, so the panel matches the joinery.

Which panel to choose

The choice depends on what is visible after installation and what job the panel has to do.

Self-adhesive XPS is pure insulation - the board disappears under the finish, so its surface does not matter. The adhesive layer speeds up fitting, and thirteen thicknesses from 16 to 48 mm let you match the infill to a particular recess without packing out several layers.

The white rigid PVC board has a finished surface and a stiff 1.3 mm facing. It is chosen where the panel stays visible and white is enough - and where it has to take knocks.

Renolit panels are the decorative option. The single-sided version suits cladding seen from one side, the double-sided one door infills and panels where both faces are visible.

Formats differ between families: XPS comes in one size, 3000 x 1000 mm, priced by square metre; PVC boards run up to 2000 x 3000 mm; Renolit panels up to 1300 x 3050 mm. On larger claddings it pays to plan the sheet layout before ordering, to limit both joints and waste.

Composite panels for window and door joinery

The range covers three families of panel, differing in core and finish. Self-adhesive XPS panels in the 3000 x 1000 mm format and thicknesses from 16 to 48 mm are pure insulation with an adhesive layer. Rigid PVC panels in thicknesses of 24-44 mm have a white 1.3 mm facing and formats up to 2000 x 3000 mm. Renolit panels are laminated with foil on one or both faces, in thicknesses from 24 to 48 mm and formats up to 1300 x 3050 mm.

Which panel to choose

Self-adhesive XPS disappears under the finish, so the surface does not matter - what counts is the thickness. Thirteen steps from 16 to 48 mm allow the infill to be matched to a particular recess without gluing several layers together, and the adhesive layer shortens fitting. The white rigid PVC panel is chosen where it stays visible and has to resist knocks, and where white will do. Renolit panels are the decorative option: single sided for cladding seen from one side, double sided for door infills and panels where both faces show.

Formats and planning the order

Formats differ between the families. XPS comes in one size, 3000 x 1000 mm, priced by the square metre. PVC panels are available in three formats up to 2000 x 3000 mm, and Renolit panels in 900 x 2150, 1150 x 3050 and 1300 x 3050 mm. On larger jobs it is worth planning the sheet layout before ordering - it reduces the number of joints and the waste. Renolit panels additionally require the foil decor and a note of whether lamination is to be single or double sided.

Collection at the weekend too

We hand goods over during the week, but the collection time is agreed individually - including on a Saturday and, if need be, a Sunday, arranged by phone beforehand. With panels it is worth planning ahead: sheets 3000 mm long need suitable transport. Orders for weekend collection should be placed by Friday 12:00 at the latest. We ship throughout Poland.

Frequently asked questions

What thicknesses of XPS panel are available?

16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, 40, 44 and 48 mm, all in the 3000 x 1000 mm format, priced by the square metre.

What facing does the white rigid PVC panel have?

A hard white PVC facing 1.3 mm thick. The surface is finished and needs neither painting nor wrapping.

How does a single-sided Renolit panel differ from a double-sided one?

The single-sided one has foil on one face and is used where only one surface is visible. The double-sided one has foil on both faces - for door infills and panels.

What formats of PVC panel are available?

1000 x 2000, 1500 x 3000 and 2000 x 3000 mm, in each of the thicknesses 24, 32, 36, 40 and 44 mm.

What formats do Renolit panels come in?

900 x 2150, 1150 x 3050 and 1300 x 3050 mm, in thicknesses of 24, 36, 40, 44 and 48 mm.

Do XPS panels need additional adhesive?

No, they have a factory self-adhesive layer. That shortens fitting, and thickness steps of 1-2 mm let you fill a recess without gluing several layers together.
