A viewer lets you see who is at the door without opening it. Every model we carry has a panoramic field of view and, on the inside, a shutter that covers the lens when the viewer is not in use.
A separate group is door name plates - plates with space for a name or number, used in offices, hotels and businesses.

There are two fields of view: 170 and 200 degrees. The wider one takes in almost the whole area in front of the door, including someone standing right against the frame.

How to choose a viewer for your door
The first question is: is the door fire-rated? If so, the only correct choice is the brass viewer with a fire-resistant insert - an ordinary viewer in such a door voids its fire rating.
The second criterion is the field of view. The 200 degree version takes in almost the whole area in front of the door, including someone standing right by the frame, outside the reach of narrower optics. That matters in flats and hotels where the corridor is narrow.
The third is visibility from outside. A standard viewer shows as a lens in the leaf. The version hidden behind a name plate gives nothing away - from the corridor all you see is an ordinary plate.
On every model the inside shutter is worth noting. It covers the lens when the viewer is not in use, so nobody outside can look in using reversed optics.
When ordering, the thickness of the door leaf is useful - it determines the length of the viewer barrel.

The viewer concealed behind a name plate gives nothing away from outside - from the corridor you see an ordinary plate, with the lens hidden behind it. From inside it works like any viewer: panoramic visibility and a shutter. Colours: black and silver, black and gold. Separately we carry the Lir name plate, a holder with space for an interchangeable card. It is fixed with screws or adhesive tape - both are supplied, so there is no need to drill where drilling is not allowed. It is used on doors, furniture, cupboards and shelving in offices, hotels and businesses; colours: black and silver, black and gold, white.
Collection at the weekend too
We hand goods over during the week, but the collection time is agreed individually - including on a Saturday and, if need be, a Sunday, arranged by phone beforehand. The option is used above all by customers living and working in Germany. Orders for weekend collection should be placed by Friday 12:00 at the latest. We ship throughout Poland.
